First off let me start off by saying hi to everyone. My situation is a little like most but I am a single mother of a 17yr. old. I was just recently laid off in Feb. '08. I've always had a good work history I had only been working at this job 3 months and they come tell us that the company we were working for was in debt (major) and they were closing our office along with some others. I immediately applied for unemployment, went to get assist from local social services office for assistance (food stamps & medicaid) but I was denied both. Can u believe how NC offices operate? I take medicine and I don't have any insurance. But the only good thing that came out off it is they paying for me to start school in April. But I need any kind of help or any kind of information to get help. Because it is truly hard right car payment is getting behind, rent is on a string must come up with something quick. I really don't know what to do right now stress is a killer. But if someone has any ideas or knowledge of anything please please let me know. If you need verification of anything I'm telling will be happy to show proof. I just need help!!!
